HyperREZ™ columns are specially designed for analysis of organic acids, alcohols, saccharides and carbohydrates. They employ a polymeric support with ligand exchange groups. The ligand exchange resins contain highly sulfonated cation exchange resins that have Group I, Group II or transition metals associated with the chromatographic surface.

HyperREZ™ columns are based upon a polymeric resin that shows stability from pH 1 to 14, allowing the use of dilute acid mobile phases. The columns show minimal shrinkage or swelling with solvent changes and can be regenerated easily using a salt solution or organic modifier. Selectivity is controlled by the metal forms and its interaction with hydroxyl groups on the analyte.

Calcium, Lead, Sodium, Silver and Hydrogen counter ion formats are available. Specific USP L19 (sugar alcohols), L17 (organic acids) and L34 columns are also available.

Guard units in each of the resins listed are recommended as they protect the analytical column from contamination and frit blockage.
