RotaChrom’s iCPC platform is the largest commercially available Centrifugal Partition Chromatography instrument in the world. Designed for industrial-scale purification projects in continuous batch operation mode, this device is by far the most cost-effective industrial-scale chromatography platform available on the market. It has the capacity to process hundreds of kilograms of crude input material per month.The iCPC uses similar technical features as our pilot-scale system, the rCPC. Nonetheless, it maintains the same relative load and resolution capabilities. Furthermore, the iCPC is designed to operate in an industrial environment. It is controlled by a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) unit, which enables system finetuning and the aligned functioning of multiple devices.

Upon request, the iCPC can be operated as a standalone instrument as well as in clusters, or extended with a fully integrated solvent handling system.

RotaChrom has developed a revolutionary preparative purification method called Industrial Scale Centrifugal Partition Chromatography (iCPC). This novel system does not utilize any solid stationary phase (such as silica gel) to achieve precision molecular separation and is demonstrably superior to conventional liquid chromatographic techniques in terms of yield and purity. In addition, the iCPC platform has radically reduced the costs and number of steps associated with downstream method development for a diverse array of purification challenges.
