Q-Adept the new HPLC low pressure mixing gradient HPLC system from Cecil Instruments, offers ultimate gradient performance with dynamic mixing and multi-solvent handling.

Quaternary to Binary, as well as isocratic operation is provided, with the flexibility of a very compact modular system of minimal stack height.
The dual piston pump with electronic feedback, provides pulse free solvent delivery from 0.001 mL/min to 10 mL/min, with low delay volume. The newly designed, heated/chilled and heated ovens, each accommodate three columns, pre-columns and a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger avoids column temperature gradients.

Used with the WaveQuest, the company’s ultra-fast scanning (dynamic absorbance detector) DAD, only one elution is required to both scan and measure low concentration eluting peaks, reducing experimental time by a factor of two. Spectral Storage, Library Search and Match Factors are all available. The low drift of the detector, up to 100 times better than normal Photo Diode Array detectors, saves the cost of an extra variable wavelength detector.

The whole system may be controlled by Cecil Instruments’ completely new PowerStream Software, which offers superb data processing and has 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
