TA equipment are quite easy and interestingly having same software version and some mechanical parts even are very similar. So if you have used one TA machine you will never feel strange to rest of TA series.

Thermal analysis of recycled plastics and blends
This instrument allows us to test our samples when and how we need it! The testing is reproducible within 1-2% error. We haven’t had the chance to use the aftersales service yet, however the reps are very helpful and ready to help! The instrument combines a good ratio of benefits to cost. We use this instrument constantly on a daily basis and appreciate the availability of the results at our fingertips. Another benefit is that it uses the same software platform as our Differential Scanning Calorimeter, from the same vendor, so we can operate it from the same computer and enjoy the consistency of the software platform across various testing equipment! Overall, we are happy with accuracy and reliability of this instrument!

Minerals, phosphates. comparison of raw materials to finished product
TGA 5500 is a great tool for us to determine if raw materials are still present in a finished product and to compare R&D samples for synthesis routes. The profiles collected are great for comparison and show the smallest variations between samples.
