The startup time on this unit is simply incredible in comparison to other manufacturers I have used previously. Almost everything suffers an issue given enough time in service, but this is where the VICI DBS product line really steps above competitors because the after sales support is exceptional. I didn't bother doing a price comparison when I purchased a second generator, but when I purchased the first unit I was surprised that it was lower than others. Don't let the better value cause you to have concern of the product quality. I have two high volume 1300mL/min units to support instrumentation in our analytical lab and gas quality has never been an issue. The only gripes I have about the instruments are that the light in the water tank doesn't quite do the job of making the water level super easy to read and the alarm is a little quiet. It seems to get recognized when analysts get delayed on filling the water reservoir, but the alarm level is truly the only complaint I hear from operators.

Hydrogen is produced by forcing distilled or deionized water through a sophisticated Swiss-made fuel cell. Electrolytic dissociation separates the water into its two main components: hydrogen ready for analytical use, and oxygen that is released into the air.
No acid no alkaline solutions are used in the hydrogen generation cycle. The patented automatic drying system ensures the maximum grade of hydrogen purity.
In some models, de-ionized water is automatically loaded from smart internal system tanks with a 3 litre capacity, providing up to 3000 litres of H2 before a refill. An optional zero air generator (oil-free compressor not included) provides zero air with hydrocarbon content around 0.5 ppm.
Also available in tower or rack mount versions.
