Blood culture instrument
The Virtuo has been an excellent instrument. We have had almost no problems with this platform, with the exception as of recently. The computer needed to be updated, and with that came a few minor issues that needed to be addressed, but a lack of experienced FSE has caused delays in repairs.

Clinical
Very easy to use instrument. Has a lot of features that help the routine lab work to get done. Requires less hands-on time resulting in less human errors.

Microbiology
Virtuo is one of the best analyzers we use for microbiology. Easy user interface, easy software, touch screen, full 360 picture taken of the bottle upon loading and excellent options for reporting.

Blood culture vials incubation
Bact/ALERT Virtuo detects positive blood culture earlier and volumetric analysis of vials can be done easily. Results are more reliable than BacT/ALERT 3D. I recommend due to its high accuracy.
