The Yokogawa Cell Voyager CQ1 is a benchtop high-content spinning disk confocal imaging system that requires no darkroom or specialized setup. Compact design contains fully integrated functions to offer an easy-to-handle confocal imaging system, without the need for complicated system operation. The CQ1 is equipped with a CSU W1 spinning disk confocal unit enabling three-dimensional and multi-color live cell observation while also boasting high-speed confocal imaging with a low levels of cellular photo-damage and photo-bleaching. Further accelerating image acquisition speed, low exposure times are obtained by solid state laser excitation and images captured on a highly sensitive scientific cMOS camera. For increased cellular longevity and biological relevance, the CQ1’s environmental incubation control system provides stable support for live cells before, during and after imaging, providing adjustable heat and control over humidified CO2 and N2 concentrations. With the flexible open platform for robotics integration, the CQ1 can handle screening assay scale up with ease.

Easy to use, intuitive, simple acquisition software increases productivity. With reusable acquisition protocols, you need only place your sample in the CQ1 and run the software. Collected images can automatically be transferred to the analysis software and real time analysis is then fed back into the imaging routine making the CQ1 truly ‘set it and forget it’.

Yokogawa’s CQ1 is designed to quantitatively measure biological information from each cell with high reproducibility. A user-friendly interface and versatile functions support your measurement and analysis. The images from the CQ1 are incredibly data rich and the analysis software can tease out information such as area, volume, cell functions, signal transduction, cell number, cell position, intensity, cell mobility and more! These data are effortlessly quantified after image processing and visualized as easy to understand graphs. Put together, the CQ1 is your all in one package for high-resolution, high-content, high-quality analyses. From images to analysis, the CQ1 has you covered.
