Isothermal Low Temperature Range
ArcticZymes' IsoPol® isothermal polymerases are engineered for rapid, efficient DNA amplification in point-of-care (POC) settings. With enhanced strand displacement, high processivity, and tolerance to biological matrices, they allow faster diagnostics with minimal sample prep. IsoPol BST+ and IsoPol SD+ excel in challenging environments, supporting popular methods like LAMP for quick, reliable results at optimal temperatures.
To accommodate the need for high quality enzymes for isothermal amplification ArcticZymes developed the IsoPol® series of polymerases for rapid, efficient DNA amplification in point-of-care (POC) settings.
Isothermal Low Temperature Range:
For isothermal amplification at lower temperatures (37°C and below) we offer two enzymes, IsoPol® DNA Polymerase and IsoPol® SD+. Both enzymes exhibit excellent processivity and high strand displacement activity, having 5’-3’ polymerase activity while lacking both 3’-5’and 5’-3’ exonuclease activity.
IsoPol SD+ and IsoPol DNA Polymerase are ideal for amplification at temperatures above 20°C and 37°C.
IsoPol® SD+ is an engineered version of IsoPol® DNA Polymerase with even stronger strand displacement and higher salt tolerance.
Isothermal Low Temperature Range:
IsoPol® BST+ is a heat-tolerant BST polymerase (large fragment) with enhanced strand-displacement activity. IsoPol® BST+ is active from 25 to 65°C. It is lacking 5’-3’- and 3’-5’-exonuclease activity.
Key features
- IsoPol® BST+ lacks 5’-3’- and 3’-5’-exonuclease activity.
- Inactivation - IsoPol® BST+ is completely inactivated after one minute incubation at 95°C
- Enhanced strand displacement and processivity.
- Increased salt tolerance.
- Available Glyrcerol-Free
We offer a unique family of DNA polymerases selected for isothermal amplification, originating from a Marine bacterium, expressed in E. coli and soil, hot springs, ocean sediment.
IsoPol BST+ is an in silico designed homologue of Bst DNA Polymerase (large fragment) suitable for amplification at elevated temperatures with an optimum at 65°C.
IsoPol BST+ and IsoPol SD+ are engineered for enhanced amplification performance and higher inhibitor tolerance.
