Kapa - Worth trying it once for your complex custom PCR projects

It's a novel B-family DNA polymerase, specifically engineered to increased it's affinity for DNA without accessing accessory proteins or binding domains. We used to have many custom projects with different gene targets of various sizes and multiple gene panels. We had to switch from 5-6 different polymerase to this Kappa enzyme. Now for most of our projects Kappa is the first and only choice The results are amazing both on gel (quality) and quantity (ND/qubit). The concentration was good enough to use for other downstream applications. You don't need to do many trials while using this polymerase enzyme. It's quite stable and easy to set-up any PCR evading complexity of PCR program. It may be a bit costly but the price is worth for the value of product

NGS Library Prep

We use the Kapa HiFi PCR mastermix for high-throughput NGS library prep. We prepare 3,000 nextera-based NGS libraries per day, and use Kapa HiFi PCR mastermix for every prep. We have found HiFi to give us the best and most reproducible results with our automated workflow. We have found that kapa hifi is more forgiving in terms of allowing us to run more cycles of pcr without drastically increasing our duplication rate in the NGS data. This allows us to rescue samples on the lower quality or quantity side. Great product!

KAPA HiFi has been engineered to have an increased affinity for DNA without the need for accessory protein domains. The intrinsic high processivity of KAPA HiFi results in significant improvements to yield, sensitivity, speed, target length, and the ability to amplify difficult templates (e.g AT- and GC-rich). The error rate of KAPA HiFi PCR Kits is 100X lower than wild-type Taq DNA polymerase.
