Baseline resolution without gradient elution!
Separate polar basic compounds that are not retained in C18
I had been trying to separate highly hydrophilic basic compounds using RP and ion pairing reagents but I had no luck. I decided to try ion exchange as a last resort with little hope. To my surprise, I managed to get baseline resolution with isocratic elution!
