PCR reactions
As I was desperately missing the thermocycler with the gradient function, I choose this one. Well, the first month I was very unsatisfied, as I never ever got the results from my PCR - then I realized, the lid is absolutely not heating, so after the claim, they repair the heating component in the lid and now, everything is working. The thermocycler is not bad. Ramping takes more time compared to Eppendorf thermocycler. To design a gradient is for me still the biggest challenge, I am still using the gradient calculator in settings as otherwise, I have no idea how it is counting. To make new programs is also little challenging, my students do not like it so I have to still write the programs. However, it is not bad thermocycler. You just need to get used to working with it and then, everything runs as it should run.
