The Tescan instrument gives the best price/value ratio on the market. It is a fast and robust machine and has a lot of options for upgrade. It can be used as a SEM only but combining it with multiple detectors allows the user to make precise EDS analysis. I have been using it for one year and I am very satisfied with this product. I would recommend it to any beginner/high level user.
