Extraction of plasmids from bacteria culture
I would say it is easy to use and straight to the point. I would rate the yield to be about 60%, purity at 80%. It is good value for the money nonetheless.

Preparation of DNA plasmid for mammalian cell transfection
We have been using this kit for a long time. Once E. coli cells are resuspended, it takes only 30 min or so. As a final step, the residual amount of endotoxin can be removed by a simple spin. We used to use another company's products, but this kit from Zymoresearch saves our time and money.

Plasmid Prep from Glycerol Stocks
I like how fast and efficient this kit it. Our lab used to use a kit that took 3 hours for a maxiprep preparation and required several centrifugation steps. The Zymo Kit allows me to do the same thing in 45 minutes with very comparable yields. I would definitely recommend it when you don't want to spend one day doing Maxiprep and also to save money.

High yield purification of bacterial plasmids
The kit is by far the fastest maxikit I've used while not sacrificing yield. You'll have a hard time finding a comparable endotoxin free maxikit in this price range. I got yields of 2~3 ug/uL, ~300 uL total, but it varies depending on the plasmid itself and how you grow the bacteria. The included manual is very clear and in-depth. The kit shipped promptly.

Plasmids preps
I used a maxiprep kit from another vendor for many years but decided to test ZymoPURE II since it was cheaper and my experience with Zymo kits. I was impacted by how easy is to use ZymoPURE II to have high quality and amount of plasmid for transfections in less than an hour. Definitely I recommend it.

ZymoPURE™ Plasmid Isolation kits provide the fastest and simplest method available to efficiently isolate transfection quality plasmid DNA from E. coli. The ZymoPURE™ Plasmid Maxiprep kit features a spin column-based method for the purification of up to 1.2 mg of high-quality plasmid DNA in less than 18 minutes. The eluted plasmid DNA is ready for immediate use, avoiding the need for subsequent precipitation steps.
ZymoPURE™ technology uses a modified alkaline lysis method and features novel binding chemistry that yields highly concentrated plasmid DNA (up to 3 µg/µl) directly from a spin column. The wash regimen has been optimized to ensure the plasmid DNA is free of endotoxins, salt, protein, and RNA resulting in plasmid DNA suitable for sensitive applications including transfection, plasmid-mediated gene silencing, cloning, and sequencing.
As an added convenience, the ZymoPURE™ Plasmid Maxiprep contains colored buffers that permit error-free visualization and identification of complete bacterial cell lysis and neutralization. Syringe filters are included for rapid clearing of the lysate and the unique spin-column design allows the binding step to be performed using a vacuum or table top centrifuge.
