Confocal Raman Imaging in Life Sciences - Correlative Techniques

22 May 2016

Correlative Raman Imaging and Scanning Electron (RISE) microscopy combines the advantages of both imaging techniques. It is a powerful new analytical method for the analysis and interrelation of the structural properties and the molecular composition of samples. In this application note WITec demonstrates integrated Raman and AFM or Raman and SEM into standalone instruments, therefore avoiding the inevitable complication of sample transfer and re-identification of the investigated area when using two separate instruments.
