This specially formulated kit is ideal for the development of diagnostic assays. It contains a glycerol-free 4x qPCR mix comprising hot start Taq polymerase, dNTPs, Mg and a blend of excipients to provide optimal functionality without loss of activity post lyophilisation. Antibody-mediated hot start technology ensures specific amplification of DNA targets, with improved tolerance to the common PCR inhibitors found in clinical samples.
Lyophilisation offers many advantages including ambient storage, extended shelf-life and increased versatility in sample volume. The kit has been optimised to offer the same high performance post-lyophilisation as our standard qPCR kits.
